Steps to reproduce:
1. Clean registry settings
2. Go to options->preferences->socket tab.
3. Try ticking, then unticking first radio item
4. Click OK.
5. Go back to preference, click on Socket tab.
6. crash.


Stack trace:
Cannot get decent stack trace without .pdb file

Well spotted.  I was doing something silly with sizeof() on a TCHAR buffer. 
Should now be fixed in CVS.
