Description Jose M. daLuz 2005-10-07 19:07:23 UTC
Please describe the problem:
If I type in the beginning of a word, say "cd" or "open", I get certain matches
with Launchers at the top of the list ("Launch CD Database Server/CD
Player/Sound Juicer CD Ripper" for "cd", "Launch Neverputt/Open
Folder/OpenOffice.org 2.0 Math/etc. for "open"). If I continue to extend these
words ("cddb", "opening") the launchers do not disappear from the list. If I
type a space and a second word ("cd store", "open source") they do, correctly,
disappear.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Start typing a word
2. Get partial match including launchers
3. Continue typing word

Actual results:
Launchers do not disappear, even though full word should not match them.

Expected results:
Launchers disappear as search changes.

Does this happen every time?
Yes

Normally this is fixed in CVS, please reopen if this is not what you meant.
Comment 2 Jose M. daLuz 2005-10-07 20:34:15 UTC
I'll see if I can install the CVS version and test it out. In the meantime, do
you have a sense of when the next release including this fix will be coming out?
Comment 3 Raphael Slinckx 2005-10-07 20:51:21 UTC
I cannot tell really, we have no roadmap yet, so maybe i can gather the
developpers and ask about doing a release before next week, i don't know if they
have pending fixes or updates.
Comment 4 Jose M. daLuz 2005-10-07 21:16:46 UTC
There's no rush, I know the next version will have the fix and it's not a real
problem to work around it.
