Description Dave Malcolm 2005-10-06 19:22:45 UTC
Please describe the problem:
There's partially working code in CVS that integrates libwnck into dogtail.

The method Window.activate() has a partially working implementation that ought
to raise a window, but it doesn't work.

I suspect this is due to bogus timestamps on the X event. Owen suggested that
we need to create a transient invisible X window purely for the sake of getting
a timestamp (and that it's a design flaw in this part of the windowmanager protocol)

dogtail development has been stalled and it has been unmaintained for a few
years now.
Maintainers don't have future development plan so i am closing bugs as WONTFIX.
Please feel free to reopen the bugs in future if anyone takes the responsibility for active development.
