"After selecting "File" / "Write to Disc..."  nautilus-cd-burner does something
for over ten
seconds, but there is no indication, that anything is happening. There is no
change in the window,
not "sandwatch" pointer, nothing.

it eats CPU then?

This happens, when I put a lot of files on the CD ( a single directory,
containing a lot of files, it is a copy of the hoary install CD).
It takes 100% CPU during this time."
