If user leave 'Tip' field for inserted hyperlink empty, then
XL substitute it with some default text
("http://www.blabla.com  Click once to follow. Click and hold to select this
cell" , where inserted hyperlink is "www.blabla.com").

It would be nice to make something similar in gnumeric (may be with switch "Use
default tip for hyperlink" somewhere in the options).

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
