GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 316841
no icon for .chm files.
Last modified: 2020-11-26 14:41:51 UTC
This bug has been opened here: http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=15945 "There's no default icon for .chm (compiled html help files) filetype, instead you have foot on a blank document icon shown. Installing xchm brings some icons to /usr/share/pixmaps but they aren't used."
What is the mimetype for such files? I get text/plain for these now.
<mime-type type="application/x-chm"> <comment>Compiled HTML Help Format</comment> <glob pattern="*.chm"/> </mime-type>
Ubuntu bug is now: https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/gnome-icon-theme/+bug/22154
we are not going to add a chm mime to gnome icon theme base since we aim to cover naming specs base set only, we could add it to gnome icon theme extras, so leaving this one open.
