GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 316682
[breezy] evo can't lose the last comma in to: field when composing
Last modified: 2005-10-26 04:03:37 UTC
This bug has been opened here: http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=15767 "When composing a new message in evolution, enter the following in the To: field: foo@bar.com, evil@no.net, Then try very hard to remove the last comma. I wish you the best of luck."
Confirming bug
Why the comma needs to be removed? It's anyway handled by the mailer.
that seems to be confusing for some user, any reason to not change that cosmetic detail?
we can look at it. i too agree with your point sebastein.
I think it's hard to fix this with the current name selector design. Autocomplettion addes comma after each auto-completed entry, that was done for the ease of use. For fixing this, some in way we need to find/assume, user has entered the last entry and delete the added comma.
Deleteing the whole entry (not just a charcter) on pressing backspace was also added for making the deletion easy.
