Description Marius Scurtescu 2005-09-14 18:22:07 UTC
Version details: 2.2.1.1 and 2.2.3
Distribution/Version: Ubuntu Hoary; Slackware

Righ-click Copy is not working in message windows.

I am using Evolution 2.2.1.1 under Ubuntu Hoary and this feature never
worked for me.

In an incoming message window if I select some text, right-click on it and
select Copy nothing happens (the text is NOT copied to the clipboard).
This applies to both the message body and headers. Typing Ctrl-C does work
as expected though.

Also, right-click Copy does work in the composer window (new message or
reply).

ao aince it is NOT in the clipboard, it cannot be a duplicate of bug 273538 i
guess, but nevertheless could you try to copy from the context menu and paste by
ctrl+v or from the main menu, please?

i guess updating to 2.4.0 should fix this. :-/
Comment 2 Marius Scurtescu 2005-09-14 18:46:50 UTC
Pasting by Ctrl-v or main menu does not work either, it will paste previous
content of clipboard. So basically right-click Copy does not copy anything to
the clipboard.

I am using 2.4 and it works fine for me. It will be better, if you could update
to the latest version, since a lot of bugs are fixed in 2.4

Yes, it works in 2.4. Just upgraded to Breezy and it is fine now.
