Description Étienne Bersac 2005-09-11 17:23:39 UTC
hello,

The preferences menu is going to be long and longer. With PGP préférences and
other programms, the menu is juste going to be taller than my screen (1024x768).
I can even imagine using it on 800x600 !

For this, we can use gnome-control-center. But, where is the menu entry for it ?

I think that gnome-control-center deprecate the menu preference. the
"Preference" entry in the menu should be a launcher for gnome-control-center,
not a menu.

Other OS also use preference panel instead of menu. (OS X is great, Windows© is
good also).

Thanks.

Thanks for your bug. That's a known issue already discussed on the lists and on the wiki

I think we can check this off now...
