Last modified: 2006-09-08 12:40:20 UTC
This bug has been opened here: http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=14845 "When I launch a playlist for an internet radio Totem starts caching data and starts playing. So far so good. However, Totem shows black space where the visual effects(goom) should be. Only when I move the window around the desktop (eventually out of the desktop or place another window on top of it) the visual effects will appear. I have discovered this in Ubuntu Breezy(daily). Christian ... > Thanks for your bug. Does it happen with local files too? What videosink (from gstreamer-properties) do you use? Have you an example of webpage for that? ... I have recorded the events using vnc2swf. The video sink options of gstreamer do in fact make a difference which the swf presentations also show. In the bug description I used an internet radio stream as an example. Today a test showed that it does not matter whether using local files or internet radio streams. .. and forgot the link to the website: http://home1.stofanet.dk/elkjaer"
This is fixed in 0.10 backend. Mark as 0.8 bug.
