Description Daniel Gryniewicz 2005-09-07 15:32:51 UTC
Please describe the problem:
As is shown in bug #140830 in the Gentoo bugzilla
(http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=104830), Evince with the cairo backend
in poppler doesn't show some lines. There is an example PDF there that
indicates the problem. Gpdf or evince without the cairo backend show the lines fine.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Build evince 0.4.0 with poppler 0.4.1 or 0.4.2 with the cairo backend
2. Open this pdf: http://bugs.gentoo.org/attachment.cgi?id=67648
3. Compare lines in diagrams with same PDF in gpdf/evince w/o cairo

Does this happen every time?

Thanks everyone, this problem was discussed in another bug and it has link to actual poppler problem with patch. Can someone try that patch from poppler bug 5545 and reopen this if problem still stays.

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 324049 ***
Comment 8 Daniel Gryniewicz 2006-01-19 18:15:04 UTC
The patch in 5545 worked fine for me. I've applied it to the gentoo package.
