It seems alias support is not working in current gnome-vfs CVS HEAD, when
associating a program to a mime-type alias :

to reproduce the problem :
-modify $(prefix)/share/mime/packages/freedesktop.org.xml to add a alias to an
existing mimetype and run update-mime-database  $(prefix)/share/mime
-modify .desktop of an application to use the alias instead of the main mimetype
-using nautilus, check the application available for the main mimetype => the
application using the alias won't be displayed.
