GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 314730
Crash while trying to add a network server
Last modified: 2006-06-07 15:05:38 UTC
I tried to add a windows share, and it crashed. I did provide these informations: server, username, domain name, name for the connection. However, I did not provide share and folder. Stack trace: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/nautilus-connect-server' Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/i686/cmov/libthread_db.so.1". `system-supplied DSO at 0xffffe000' has disappeared; keeping its symbols. I've the same problem, but if you don't put the domain name nautilus-connect-server don't crash. Can you tray it? this is my backtrace: Backtrace was generated from '/developer/garnome/bin/nautilus-connect-server' Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/libthread_db.so.1". `system-supplied DSO at 0xffffe000' has disappeared; keeping its symbols. Thanks for your verbose stack traces. Confirming.
Created attachment 52196 [details] [review] Proposed patch I've also submitted this patch to the nautilus mailing list [1] for review. [1] http://mail.gnome.org/archives/nautilus-list/2005-September/msg00116.html
Created attachment 52215 [details] [review] Proposed patch #2 This one should work better.
I've committed the second patch. This change will make it into Nautilus 2.12.1.
