Other information: Ubuntu 5.10 (breezy) Bug-Bunny didn't work, I will report it in Ubuntu's Bugzilla.
Works fine here. Which version of xine-lib are you using? Or at what point did it crash?
It crashes when I open it. I use totem-xine version 1.1.5-0ubuntu2 and libxine1c2 1.0.1-1ubuntu8.
I can't reproduce this with a recent xine-lib. You'll have to open a bug in Ubuntu's bugzilla against xine-lib I'm afraid.
