Hi,

I know, eggtrayicon is deprecated, but for the record, this change broke sending messages for me. I'm under Ubuntu Edgy.

I wanted to update a util to latest eggtrayicon to support transparency. After updating, sending messages didn't work anymore.

Best regards,
Whoopie
