Following on from diff files I found for 1.8.9, I've updated and tested them for
1.8.11. 

I'd like to see them folded into the baseline code, as they make invoice
creation much more flexible.

This patch adds an Easy Invoice option to the Reports, Business Reports menu.

Easy Invoice is a more usable invoice layout than that in the baseline product.
I found this some time ago in a 1.8.9 version (not sure who created it), and
have updated it for 1.8.11. It interfaces with the stylesheet options in the
normal fashion, and I'd like very much to see it in baseline.

Okay, this last patch was applied to SVN, r13240.  Unfortunately two chunks failed, so I had to hand apply the changes.
