GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 313574
crash viewing IMAP mail
Last modified: 2013-09-13 00:52:12 UTC
Distribution: Ubuntu 5.10 (breezy) Package: Evolution Severity: Normal Version: GNOME2.11.90 unspecified Gnome-Distributor: Ubuntu Synopsis: crash viewing IMAP mail Bugzilla-Product: Evolution Bugzilla-Component: Mailer Bugzilla-Version: unspecified BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.11.2) Description: Description of the crash: I was viewing a message thread in a large remote IMAP mail folder. I then deleted a message (which caused it to be marked as deleted in the message list), then rapidly scrolled upward towards the most recent message using the keyboard up arrow key. The status bar shows "Retrieving message 11367 (...)". I wonder if there are problems when trying to retrieve several message simultaneously. Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/evolution' (no debugging symbols found) Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/i686/cmov/libthread_db.so.1". (no debugging symbols found) `system-supplied DSO at 0xffffe000' has disappeared; keeping its symbols. I'm running 2.3.7 on Ubuntu Breezy. I believe this is the current version. If a similar issue was fixed in the past few days, could you point me to the bug?
hmm, might've misread the backtrace.
