Description Joe Shaw 2005-08-04 18:18:25 UTC
The Evo backend should have Groupwise support. The cache is the same as the
imap4 backend, but the summary format is subtly different, which is annoying.
Comment 1 rongeens8 2006-11-07 21:54:27 UTC
I realize it is deep down the todolist, but I am adding myself in Cc anyway.
Comment 2 Dan Elder 2010-03-31 20:11:59 UTC
Any chance that this is higher on the todolist these days?
Comment 3 Joe Shaw 2010-03-31 20:25:25 UTC
Unlikely. Beagle is not being actively developed at all, and receiving only limited support from Novell (who'd be the most likely to implement Groupwise support)

I actually did some work on this a while back, to have Beagle search the locally-cached e-mail from Evolution Groupwise accounts. It looks like I forgot to file the patch upstream, or if I did, I can't remember where I did.
Comment 5 André Klapper 2018-07-03 09:50:01 UTC
Beagle is not under active development anymore and had its last code changes in early 2011. Its codebase has been archived (see bug 796735):

"tracker" is an available alternative.

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect
reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project
to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is deprecated) if anyone takes the
responsibility for active development again.
