Description Michael Monreal 2005-07-31 00:16:46 UTC
Distribution/Version: Ubuntu Breezy

Seeing that CD items now offer a "Copy CD" context menu item, it would be nice
if there was also a "Erase CD-RW" option if the detected media is a rewritable CD.

I know that n-c-b can erase CD-RW, but the feature is just not very obvious,
it's too well hidden at the moment. Adding this context item would place the
functionality where everyone expects it.

This probably could be a feature of some type of disk formatting tool but it
doesn't really fit in the scope of nautilus-cd-burner.
Comment 2 Mathias Hasselmann (IRC: tbf) 2007-06-01 12:39:16 UTC
This functionality definitly has to be reachable from the desktop. Asking user to run "cdrecord -blank" from terminal doesn't make sense. Just have a happy GNOME user here on Linuxtag complaining about not finding that feature.
