Description Dr. Iglói Gábor 2005-07-26 06:31:09 UTC
Music files usually have different volume levels and needs to be normalized to
create a higher quality CD. It would be nice if we can normalize (even through
running an external script/method like "normalize") our musics before writing
them to the CD with Serpentine.
Comment 1 Tiago Cogumbreiro 2005-08-14 00:28:56 UTC
This is one of the more requested feature for serpentine and will definitly be
present in the next release. It will be an automatic feature, via a plugin, and
will only be enabled (silently) if the user has the 'normalize' command in its
PATH, since gstreamer has no 'normalize' plugin.

Serpentine maintainer(s) have not worked on Serpentine for some years now. This project is not under active development anymore. It is currently unlikely that there will be any further active development.

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect
reality. Please feel free to reopen this bug report in the future if anyone
takes the responsibility for active development again.
