Description Khasim Shaheed 2005-07-20 08:48:29 UTC
Steps to reproduce:
1.Open Compose a message window
2.Check the option Format->HTML
3.Open the page properties dialog using Format->Page option
4.Select a Background Image Source using Browse button(say
/opt/gnome/share/pixmaps/apple-green.png (Now the compose message will be filled
with lots of green apples)
5.Now click on Template combo box(list of templates will appear), again click on
the Template combo box(the list will be closed).

Observe that the Background Image is disappeared even if we didn't select any
Template.

Shaheed: After selecting some background template or image, if the user wants a
clear background again, he would need to click on the None option in the
Template. Basically, Template and Background image options are for the same
purpose. Maybe, we might need to re-align Template under Background image
section, to avoid confusion.
So, this appears to be the intended behavior.

Its really confusing...select some background image(observe that Template is
'None'), i just wanted to see what are all the options under Template, i didn't
like those options and left as it is...background image disappears.

Yes, re-align Template under Background image section would solve the problem.
