Paolo,

The patch puts the View as Slide / View as List radio buttons in the "View" menu, rather than in Edit > Prefs > Browser. This is similar to Nautilus.

Nautilus uses the Ctrl+1 and Ctrl+2 shortcut keys. These are already used in gthumb to control the preview box, so I didn't assign any shortcuts. You can add them easily, of course.

Please review (especially the timeout stuff) and commit.
