GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 309938
sidebar too small to show all emblems
Last modified: 2005-07-11 14:34:38 UTC
Please describe the problem: In browser mode, irrespective of the toolbars shown, if I have the sidebar enabled and showing the Emblems page, the bottom few icons are obscured, even after scrolling to the bottom of the page. With my current display settings, I can see as far as Presentations and Sales, and can just make out the top of the Sound icon. I guess I'm missing at least Shared, Sound, Special, Urgent, and Web, which appear in the Emblems context menu but not in the sidebar. See <http://endbracket.net/michael/screenshots/nautilusemblems> for a screenshot. Steps to reproduce: Actual results: Expected results: Does this happen every time? Other information:
The link you provided doesn't work. Could you please attach the screenshot to this bug?
Created attachment 48911 [details] screenshot of nautilus emblems bar Sorry. My web server configuration was broken. I have attached the same file to this bug.
Thanks for your bug report! I can reproduce this really weird bug: The emblem layout seems to go totally crazy if the container width is slightly smaller than it would be required to fit an additonal column.
#155642 is a similar issue with the emblems dialog
Thanks for pointing htis out Sebastien. You are right, this one is a dup. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 155642 ***
