if you set the toolbar icon size to something other than the default, the
expression buttons ("X", "<-", "=") aren't the correct size. even though this
technically isn't a toolbar, it looks like one. it's preferable to have all of
the icon sizes consistent. thanks.

Anything that reclaims vertical space is probably good.
