GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 308350
crash on reload with x86_64, fc4
Last modified: 2005-10-30 13:37:07 UTC
Distribution/Version: fedora core 4, x86_64 1. build 1.3.21 on fedora core 4 2. fire it up 3. hit the reload button I did my best to remove all personal gconf and galeon prefs so pretty sure it's not some odd config of mine that's doing it. my galeon build works on i386 just fine. my galeon build worked ok with fc3/x86_64 also. so looks like a problem with galeon and fc4 to me... is there any way to get a core dump out of the crash?
Thanks for the bug report. Without a stack trace from the crash it's very hard to determine what caused it. Can you provide us with one? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so.
Created attachment 48845 [details] bug-buddy stack trace ooops - got swamped by email and missed your reply. sorry for the delay. here's the bug-buddy trace. BTW, I also listed this in redhat's bugzilla in case it's a problem with fc4. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=160856 let me know if I can provide more information.
Created attachment 48969 [details] crash dump from bug-buddy same again with the latest 1.3.21-8.x86_64 from fedora 4 extras. I'll add this to the fedora bugzilla also.
Thanks for the bug report, however this looks like a crash in the mozilla code, and the RedHat bug also indicates that this is the case.
