GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 307398
blank IMAP warning messages
Last modified: 2013-09-13 00:53:04 UTC
Version details: 2.3.3 Distribution/Version: Ubuntu/Breezy My IMAP server issues me a warning on every folder I access (this behavior is correct). Most of the time Evolution just displays a blank dialog for these warnings, occasionally it displays something really cryptic like just "5." Every once in a while it displays the correct message.
it's very hard to find out what's going on from here, could you please submit a *camel* backtrace, see <http://www.gnome.org/projects/evolution/bugs.shtml>? thanks in advance... :-)
Created attachment 47884 [details] Camel Backtrace Camel back trace attached. The warning I get from other IMAP clients is on the line below: received: * NO [ALERT] Mailbox is at 85% of quota Evolution gave me a blank waning this time. I can repeat this until i get a mangled warning if desired.
looks like a bug in the alert handling.

verified using evolution-2.4.0. Evolution does not pop-up any such dialogs anymore.
