Description Michael Baass 2005-05-27 07:56:49 UTC
Version details: windows
Distribution/Version: XP professional V 2002

<img src=""http://www.whit

you can't paste that string in a cell - if you paste it in the text-box its
allright.
If you put '<img src=""http://www.whit' in a notepad-file (TXT) and try to
import as TXT you have ':' as separator pre-checked.
In case you try to uncheck ':' - then gnumeric closes with a windows problem.
(running gnumeric under windowsXP)
error description:
AppName: gnumeric.exe AppVer: 0.0.0.0 ModName: libgobject-2.0-0.dll
ModVer: 2.6.4.0 Offset: 000200e6

I guess i would not encounter the same problem when running gnumeric under
LINUX ?

best regards
Michael
