Description j.gnome 2005-05-25 08:28:47 UTC
Pasting text from the clipboard doesn't work anymore. This used to work in 1.4.x

1. Copy text to the clipboard
2. Select A1, paste

** (gnumeric.exe:4856): CRITICAL **: cell_set_value: assertion `v != NULL' failed
Comment 1 Morten Welinder 2005-05-25 15:01:39 UTC
I don't see this -- might be Win32 only.

Could you please clarify the step 1: what do you copy and from where?
Comment 2 j.gnome 2005-05-25 15:18:45 UTC
Certainly. These steps (copied from bug 163411) now show this bug:

1. Type "aaaaa" in A1
2. Select the text, copy it to the clipboard
3. Select cell A2
4. Paste

Critical.
Comment 3 Morten Welinder 2005-05-25 18:37:37 UTC
Confirmed. Note, that step 2 needs to be "select text from edit line" and that
the clipboard-vs-primary configuration switch needs to be clipboard for this
to hit.

Fixed in cvs.
