Description Lee Revell 2005-05-24 23:07:06 UTC
"Hide Read Messages" and "Show Hidden Messages" are gone. These need to be put
back.

I am giving this "blocker" severity because if you upgrade with some messages
hidden, there's no way to unhide them. But this would still be a critical bug,
even if the upgrade were to unhide all messages, as a neecessary feature was
completely removed.

This was brilliant functionality, very useful, very usable, and one of the nice
things that set Evolution apart. I certainly agree it should be restored.

Fixed in CVS now. View->Show Messages->{All, Unread} will filter the list view
to show either all messages, or only unread messages.

Grumble... but now it's three clicks deep, which is a usability regression.

It almost seems as if someone's idea of "usability" is "whatever Outlook Express
users expect".
