Description Brian Cameron 2005-05-13 22:09:30 UTC
gstreamer should support unisntalled pc files so you can build with it even if
it isn't installed. Including patch.

Same question as for the other report: what do the changes do? You don't
describe it, we seem to do it right already.
Comment 3 Brian Cameron 2005-06-09 17:35:14 UTC
Yes, refer to my answer for 304124
Comment 4 Maciej Katafiasz 2005-07-11 20:48:04 UTC
So, what's the stance here (and for bug 304124, too)? I guess we leave things
the old way? Closing as INVALID then.
Comment 5 Brian Cameron 2005-07-11 22:30:07 UTC
Yes, you can leave this the old way. I've modified our build system so it works
better with the way GStreamer does this. I just thought it was incorrect since
other core GNOME libraries do it the other way (supporting relative path instead
of full path).
