Description Stephen Waters 2005-04-29 14:08:52 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Debian unstable. ATI Mobility 9000. Dell Latitude D600.

I have Xinerama set up on my laptop. While deleted emails are marked with
strikethrough text properly on the primary, internal LCD interface, they are not
displayed as such on the external, secondary CRT interface.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Run Xinerama on ati Xfree86 driver with external monitor
2. Delete a mail, but don't expunge
3. Move Evolution between the two desktops and see that on one it's
strikethrough text, on the other it isn't.

Expected results:

Does this happen every time?
Yes, on my system.

Screenshot of the problem.

On the right, you see the LCD screen where strikethrough text is displayed
properly. On the left, you see the external CRT where strikethrough text is not
displayed properly.

Upgrading to X.org seems to have "fixed" this bug so I guess it's an
incompatibility with the older Xfree86 edition of X11.
