there is a 'transparency type' option in the preferences/display, and the
exactly same option in filter preview context menu is called 'check style' -
imho it would be more consistent and first-time-user-friendly to use a same text
in such cases

	checkerboard parameters as used in the GimpPreviewArea popup menu
