Description Dan Siemon 2005-04-12 18:50:31 UTC
Distribution: Fedora Core release 3 (Heidelberg)
Package: totem
Severity: normal
Version: GNOME2.10.0 1.0
Gnome-Distributor: GARNOME
Synopsis: Totem cannot read files from davs URIs (other GNOME apps can)
Bugzilla-Product: totem
Bugzilla-Component: general
Bugzilla-Version: 1.0
Description:
Description of Problem:
I have a davs:// location where I store some files. If I place media
files in this location Totem cannot read them. The error message is "No
URI handler implemented for "davs://....". However, if I place .txt
files in this same davs location Gedit can open the files without a
problem. This leads me to believe that the problem is within Totem and
not Gnome-VFS.

Yes, we currently explicitely have to select plugins because gnoemvfs has no way
of telling us which URIs it supports. Dav/davs added.
