After you do a search for contacts, the preview pane should clear and be
empty.  Right now it retains the detail record from a previous search until
you click focus into a new record.

Very minor issue.

this problem seems to occur only in case of mini card view, just need
to dig whether selection_changed signal is being emitted from card
view or not

Verified with evolution-2.4.0.0.200510030429-0.snap.novell.0.1 and it works fine.
