Description Celso Pinto 2004-06-25 22:17:22 UTC
I looked and looked, but it seems there's no way to convert Evolution's
mbox files to Maildir format like 1.4.x allowed. Would it be possible to
re-implement that nice feature?

no

And better, Once you have an old Maildir structure with all your mails
you can't import it with evo-2 !! What's your problem with Maildir ?
It's so hard to understand with just a "no" in the answer !!

Thank's for loose your time in answering this issue ... I think about
change my mail client for have this format supported ...

just setup an account and set the receive type to 'maildir' then point
it to your maildir mail.

we haven't dropped maildir support at all. it just isn't available
for INTERNAL mail storage.
Comment 4 Didier LINK 2004-10-11 19:44:50 UTC
Ok, you need to add one account for each Maildir ... and for the main
inbox ??? No support, that's what I say ...

Thanks

Comment 5 Not Zed 2004-10-12 02:38:51 UTC
no. you only have to add one account for the whole maildir tree.

just like you do for every other maildir client. e.g. by using
~/Maildir or wherever your system mail gets delivered.

this is a better approach since it lets you share maildir folders
rather than just having it internal ot evolution.
