Description Jakub Steiner 2004-04-13 09:19:38 UTC
IN settings>Mail Preferences>HTML Mail I suggest changing "Show animated
images" to "Show image animations". The current label implies animated
images won't be shown if unchecked.
Comment 1 André Klapper 2005-07-16 17:33:06 UTC
still valid in 2.3.5.1, adding easy_fix. going to provide a patch for this.

"show image animations" doesn't read very well.

Is there really a need to change this string, and give all this extra unecessary
work ot the translators?
Comment 4 André Klapper 2005-07-20 09:25:04 UTC
personally i don't care (i just provide the patch), it's really a question to
jimmac.
Comment 5 André Klapper 2005-08-24 16:17:18 UTC
adding string keyword, targetting to 2.5 to force a decision.
Comment 6 André Klapper 2006-02-11 18:50:58 UTC
ok, after some testing i get this. now i second jimmac.
so animated images like GIF are *displayed* statically and not animated.
