Description Diego González 2004-02-05 01:27:54 UTC
or when no process other client is using it, after a ceratain amount of
time when no client is using it.

in a system with several users having too many instances of
evolution-data-server is a problem.
Comment 1 JP Rosevear 2004-02-13 19:44:30 UTC
It should be shutting down now, 5 seconds after the last client quits.
It seems to work with evolution right now.

We should check and see what gconfd and bonobo-activation server do
when the session closes.

Comment 2 André Klapper 2005-06-14 11:49:24 UTC
punting target milestone from 2.1 to 2.3, reassigning to harish.
don't know if this is still valid - does this one here depend on bug 219197? :-/
Comment 3 André Klapper 2005-06-14 12:07:47 UTC
adding dependency as discussed with nags on irc.
Comment 4 André Klapper 2005-07-16 17:05:57 UTC
perhaps related/the same as bug 253904?
Comment 5 André Klapper 2005-09-28 11:50:09 UTC
retargetting from 1.3 to 1.5 to get rid of that busted milestones (as discussed
with harish on irc)
Comment 6 André Klapper 2006-01-09 00:38:07 UTC
also see bug 323115 and bug 253484
Comment 7 André Klapper 2006-07-14 17:26:21 UTC
removing old target milestone.
Comment 8 Kjartan Maraas 2007-01-17 00:15:38 UTC
I guess it won't shut down if there are other processes using it like the clock applet, contacts, gaim etc?
Comment 9 Ross Burton 2007-08-28 14:57:52 UTC
If anyone can replicate evolution-data-server staying after the user has logged out then please re-open this, but evolution-data-server does exit when there is nothing using it. Generally the problem is that other applications are staying open when they should have quit.
