Description Noèl Köthe 2003-11-07 21:38:20 UTC
Please fill in this template when reporting a bug, unless you know what you
are doing.
Description of Problem:

When importing an ical file not all included data is in the calendar
(http://bugs.debian.org/203191

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. get and import as an example http://www.slug.org.au/events/event.ics
2. look into the date on 2003-11-28. the displayed info is only
"SLUG's November monthly meeting" but the description is longer than this
small summary
3.

Actual Results:

only get the summary displayed

Expected Results:

the whole description like this:
"DESCRIPTION:Since SLUG doesn't have a meeting in December, we'll have a pic
nic instead. Location Bicentennial Park, in Sydney Olympic Park Getting t
here Sydney Olympic Park is accessible by car, train and bus, and parking
is available. Check their transport guide. Concord West station is probabl
y actually closer to Bicentennial Park than Olympic Park station is. BYO
Bring your own food and drink. BBQs are available at the Park. Family an
 d friends welcome."

How often does this happen?

You mean you want the whole description field in the calendar view?
Comment 2 C Shilpa 2005-04-06 09:21:54 UTC
Replicable in 2.2.1. The whiole description that is given in the .ics
file is not being taken when the appointment/meeting is being created
after importing the file.
Comment 3 Chenthill P 2005-08-22 17:10:38 UTC
I am able to see the whole description. I am using the latest 2.4. I suppose its
fixed.
