Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. start : system => preferences (maybe customization) => "multimedia
system selector"
2. in the "default source" section, start a test
3. close it

Expected Results: 
at least, a pop-up tell you the test failed.

each time you reproduce the previous steps.

Hi,

which source did you select? Which audio output? Can you install debug symbols
(-debug RPMs, see your distribution's install CD) to make the backtrace more useful?
