GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 172437
Auto-fill forms prior to complete page loading
Last modified: 2005-04-02 18:40:06 UTC
Version details: Debian's 1.3.20-1 Distribution/Version: Debian/sid Hi, Martin-Eric Racine noted in Debian bug <http://bugs.debian.org/302698> that Galeon won't auto-fill forms such as password entry forms before the web page is fully loaded. This is a problem when pages contain borken images, or Flash objects which prevent Galeon to complete the loading. Maybe it is enough to wait for the full download of the HTML object holding the form? Anyway, I think it might be complex to solve this problem and password manager works for most pages, hence the low severity. Regards,
Actually, given the growing number of websites with embeded Flash objects, I must consider this bug as an important one, since it essentially makes auto-filling unusable on most websites I visit.
This is behaviour we inherit from mozilla. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=58724
Thanks for the upstream pointer!
