gstreamer-libs-0.8.pc Not Created

I didn't ask any questions, I reported a bug. If you see any question, direct (i.e. ended in a question mark) or implied, please point to the offending sentence/paragraph. As to the 'rpm', maybe there's a confusion between the words 'build' and 'install". I was under the impression that you 'build' something from sources (which is what I did above) and 'install' something from an rpm package. To rephrase my original submission: I compiled (make) and installed (make install) "GStreamer" from source tarball, 'gstreamer-0.8.9.tar.bz2' in 'usr/local' - as shown above - (unlike an RPM, which to my knowledge doesn't install in '/usr/local') and while the process did install the libraries as shown, it did not create a 'gstreamer-libs-0.8.pc' file ANYWHERE (the subject/title of this bug submission).
I said to ask question on our mailinglist or on IRC, which implies that I want you to ask a question if you don't understand the answer straight like that (which is perfectly understandable). Straight answer: gstreamer-libs-0.8.pc is included in gst-plugins (or gstreamer-plugins), *not* in gstreamer core.
