Description Veerapuram Varadhan 2005-03-29 13:22:40 UTC
Please describe the problem:

Steps to reproduce:
1. Do not enable extended attributes in your $HOME partition
2. Run beagled
3.

Actual results:
Command immediately returns to prompt, as it is supposed to start in bg mode.
However, it doesn't start as extended-attributes is not enabled in $HOME
partition, but, user doesn't know anything about what happened.

Expected results:
Beagled should be informative enough when it fails to start in --bg mode.

Does this happen every time?
Yes
