figment should probably be removed from Garnome, or replaced with gnome-outliner Figment Outliner http://www.handhelds.org/~mallum/figment/ Gnome Outliner http://gnomeoutliner.sourceforge.net/ In response to my enquires about figment I got this message from the maintainer. Gnome outliner doesn't seem like it is developing rapidly either (only one release) but I haven't tried it out yet. I havn't really developed it for ages now and I guess you could call it umaintained :( However have you seen; http://gnomeoutliner.sourceforge.net/ ? I know they took at least a bit of figment source code and afaik its still under development. Good luck + sorry I cant be more help; -- Matthew
Upon receiving the bug report I reviewed both of these applications. At present, figment is the more mature product. The question that comes to mind is: "What additional features would "we" like to see in an outlining application?" If the answer is "none", then figment is fine. -Joseph
Figment has been removed from GARNOME since it is no longer maintained. If you would like to request a package to be included into GARNOME (i.e. gnome-outliner) please file a bug report separate asking that it be added.
