Description Jeremie Knuesel 2005-03-13 21:12:21 UTC
Distribution/Version: Ubuntu

It would be nice to have a graphical way to change which icon is
associated with which mime type: I had some mpc (muspack) files that
could be played by totem but they were not associated (bug?), so I
selected totem in the list of programs. I can now play these files by
clicking the icon, but the icon is still a generic "foot".

Thanks for your bug. GNOME could probably use a way to change the icon for a
mimetype but this is not a nautilus issue, I'm closing this bug.

Jeremie: What MIME type is displayed in the property dialog of those
mpc/musepack files?
Comment 3 Christian Neumair 2005-06-05 14:26:10 UTC
On a sidenote: I've filed bug 306552 which asks for a GNOME MIME icon for mpc files.
