The "Re-read" and "Extract" buttons do not belong in an application window.
Instead, they should be toolbar buttons.

I'm not entirely convinced about this to be honest.
Comment 2 Ross Burton 2005-07-01 18:20:40 UTC
We've not got a slider when playing and will have a volume button, so doesn't
make sense to me as a toolbar.

I'm re-opening this for now.

If someone wants to make a basic patch or mockup of SJ with a toolbar (including
volume control and playback slider in the UI) then I'll consider it.

The main reason for my change of heart is that I can use the Ephy toolbar editor
and let people add Prev/Next buttons to the interface if they want them.

I'd like to cast a vote for "don't have a toolbar". I think it takes away from the simplicity of SJ. I pop a CD in, and it has two buttons for the two things I could possibly want to do right away.

Agreed, closing.
