Expected Results: ? a hardware probrem (yamaha ymf754)? How often does this happen? every times, every versions (in KDE) Additional Information: both of GNOME & KDE in same linux. Hi could you please try the following command-line commands and report back: gst-launch filesrc location=filename.mp3 ! mad ! audioscale ! audiorate ! osssink gst-launch playbin uri=file:///path/to/file/filename.ogg gst-launch filesrc location=filename.ogg ! mad ! audioscale ! audiorate ! esdsink The stacktrace you submitted makes it look like you are trying to output to esound sound server, is this correct?
