GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 166057
Wrong path to the 'Notification area' in typing break applet
Last modified: 2005-02-03 23:11:16 UTC
Please describe the problem: Here's the string in question: #: typing-break/main.c:106 msgid "" "The typing monitor uses the notification area to display information. You " "don't seem to have a notification area on your panel. You can add it by " "right-clicking on your panel and choose 'Add to panel -> Utilities -> " "Notification area'." I can't find typing break applet anymore in gnome-applets, so this should be removed. But if it's still there (in case I'm blind) then 'Add to panel -> Utilities -> Notification area' should be changed to something more up to date ('Add to panel -> Notification area' in this case). ;-) Steps to reproduce: Actual results: Expected results: Does this happen every time? Other information:
In 2.9.x Right click on panel Add to Panel Select Notification Area Click Add
Yeah, and this is what i was saying. It isn't Right click on panel Add to Panel Utilities Notification Area anymore. The typing-break applet is missing in 2.9.x, though.
There's never been a typing-break applet... not sure what you mean?
Created attachment 36899 [details] [review] Patch with updated actions needed to perform to add a Notification area to a panel.
Really.. Where did this thought about existence of typing-break applet came from... Need to have some sleep :-)
Thanks! Committed.
