Description Žygimantas Beručka 2005-02-02 16:39:20 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Here's the string in question:

#: typing-break/main.c:106
msgid ""
"The typing monitor uses the notification area to display information. You "
"don't seem to have a notification area on your panel. You can add it by "
"right-clicking on your panel and choose 'Add to panel -> Utilities -> "
"Notification area'."

I can't find typing break applet anymore in gnome-applets, so this should be
removed.

But if it's still there (in case I'm blind) then 'Add to panel -> Utilities ->
Notification area' should be changed to something more up to date ('Add to panel
-> Notification area' in this case). ;-)

Steps to reproduce:

Actual results:

Expected results:

Does this happen every time?

In 2.9.x

Right click on panel
Add to Panel
Select Notification Area
Click Add

Yeah, and this is what i was saying. It isn't

Right click on panel
Add to Panel
Utilities
Notification Area

anymore.

The typing-break applet is missing in 2.9.x, though.
