Please describe the problem:
Saving screenshot in gnome-screenshot, thumbnail doesn't be made on Desktop.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Click Print Screen key 
2. "save in folder" : Desktop on "save screenshot dialog"
3. Click save button


Actual results:


Expected results:


Does this happen every time?

Other information:
gnome-utils-2.9.90, nautilus/gnome-vfs 2.9.90, gamin-0.0.22.

works with on hoary with GNOME 2.9.90. Are the thumbnails working out of the
screenshots ? Is the thumbnail updated if you "touch file" in a console ?

sebastien bacher : screenshot thumbnail doesn't be updated automatically on
desktop. Clicking "ctrl + r", screenshot thumbnail is updated on desktop.

but are they working for other images copied here ? does it work is you get the
screenshot in an other directory ?

in gnome-terminal

$cp some.png ~/Desktop

Thumbnail doesn't appear on Desktop.

After doing "ctrl + r", thumbnail appears.

The file appear correctly but without thumbnail ? And in an another directoy ?

$cp some.png ~/Desktop.
The file doesn't appear- No change on Desktop. But  after doing ctrl + r,
thumbnail appears.

Thumbnail appears well in an another directory.

the redhat bug is about the trash, the desktop should work fine. Could you run
nautilus with GAM_DEBUG=1 and note what happens when you copy the file ?
