Description Keith Lea 2005-01-30 04:18:21 UTC
I will attach the MP3 file that Rhythmbox appears to crash when loading.
Comment 1 Keith Lea 2005-01-30 04:24:56 UTC
I can't attach the file, so I've posted it online at "http://kano.net/in/05 -
X-Ray Spex - I Live Off You.mp3"
Comment 2 Ronald Bultje 2005-01-30 10:01:10 UTC
Can you post a backtrace?
Comment 3 Keith Lea 2005-01-30 22:04:00 UTC
No, I compiled with debug enabled, but GDB does not show a backtrace, only in
gst_type_find_get_length and a bunch of ???'s.
Comment 4 Ronald Bultje 2005-02-25 07:55:25 UTC
Which versions of gstreamer/gst-plugins? I think you're using a recent
gst-plugins with an older gstreamer core, which had an uninitialized pointer for
typefind.get_length() in various places. This was fixed in gstreamer core 0.8.8,
IIRC.

This file works fine here. Please close if it's still an issue for you.
