Description Danielle Madeley 2005-01-17 13:10:58 UTC
Using the image as background option, images that are not long enough for the
panel seem to cough up what looks like random memory.

Comment 3 Alex Duggan 2005-01-18 03:03:26 UTC
Confirming, the same happens if the image is not tall enough
Comment 4 Vincent Untz 2005-01-30 10:08:33 UTC
Davyd: I can not reproduce here.

Does it happens when you launch the panel or after a while? Did you add/move
applets? Does it happen with every images that aren't big enough? Could you
attach the image you're using?

Thanks :-)

Davyd: ping?
Comment 6 Danielle Madeley 2005-02-03 02:28:57 UTC
Ok, I was selecting to use a background picture on a running panel.

Additional, I have just discovered that if I restart panel, the images appear to
tile as you would expect, however many of the applets have not set up their
translucency properly (this is not a problem if you use the "solid colour"
option with some blending).

When you restart panel, I notice one pixbuf from an applet visible underneath
another applet (the applet was spawned, and then moved into place as other
applets spawn), this simply appears to be old memory.

The image I am testing with is a 640x480 JPG, but can reproduce with other images.

Davyd: this is totally unreproducable for me. Could you tell me exactly what
steps I should follow to reproduce from a fresh login? Also if you could attach
one image that causes problem, it might help me.

Thanks

Anything happening on this bug? Otherwise we'll have to close it as INVALID.
Comment 9 Danielle Madeley 2005-08-22 01:30:02 UTC
I can still reproduce something similar to this. I'll attempt to work out a set
of conditions in which this is triggered.
Comment 10 Vincent Untz 2006-01-02 14:19:12 UTC
Reopening: I can finally see this.
